BEEF HOT HONEY BOWL – Healthy High Protein

Ingredients

1 lb lean ground beef
1 large onion, diced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup hot honey (see note)
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground black pepper
4 servings of cooked brown rice

Directions

In a large skillet or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.

Once the oil is hot, add the diced onion and cook until it’s translucent, about 5 minutes.

Add the minced garlic and cook for an additional minute, until fragrant.

Using a spoon, carefully mix the hot honey, soy sauce, ground ginger, and ground black pepper in a small bowl.
