COTTAGE CHEESE FLAGELS – Simple & Delicious

Ingredients

Cottage Cheese (1 cup)
Unsalted Butter (1 tbsp)
All-purpose Flour (1 cup)
Grated Parmesan Cheese (1/2 cup)
Finely Chopped Fresh Parsley (1/4 cup)
Garlic Powder (1 tsp)
Salt (to taste)
Egg (1 large)

Directions

In a clean mixing bowl, combine cottage cheese, unsalted butter, and grated Parmesan cheese. Stir until smooth and creamy.

Add the all-purpose flour, finely chopped parsley, garlic powder, and salt to the bowl. Mix until a dough forms.

Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Divide into 4 equal portions.

Shape each portion into thick ropes.

Roll each rope into tight flagel-like shapes and bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
