Ingredients

12 oz pasta of your choice
2 cups cherry tomatoes, halved
1 cup homemade tomato sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp dried basil
1 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Grated Parmesan cheese for serving (optional)

Directions

1
Bring a large skillet with a lid to medium-high heat.
2
Add the olive oil, garlic, and a pinch of salt; cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
3
Add the cherry tomatoes, tomato sauce, dried basil, and oregano. Bring to a simmer and let cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4
Stir in the cooked pasta, reserving some pasta water. Cook for 2-3 minutes, adding pasta water if the sauce seems too thick.
5
Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and continue to cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, until melted and bubbly. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.
