★★★★★ (55 Reviews)
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup breadcrumbs
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup olive oil
2 large eggs
1 tsp dried oregano
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1
Preheat your oven to 400°F. In a large pan over medium heat, add the chopped onion, cook until softened. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for another minute.
2
Mix the ground beef, cooked onion mixture, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, olive oil, eggs, oregano, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Using your hands, mix everything until well combined.
3
Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and smooth the top. Bake the meatloaf for 20 minutes, then reduce heat to 375°F and continue baking for another 5 minutes.
4
Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm, enjoy!
5
For crispy tops, broil the meatloaf for an extra 2-3 minutes – keep an eye on it to avoid burning.
