GARLIC PARMESAN MEATLOAF – Easy Comfort Food

Ingredients

Breadcrumbs (1 cup)
Finely chopped onion (1/2 cup)
Minced garlic (3 cloves)
Ground beef (1 lb)
Large egg (1)
Grated parmesan (1/2 cup)
Parmesan shredded (1/2 cup)
Italian seasoning (1 tsp)
Salt and pepper (to taste)

Directions

Precare oven to 400°F (200°C) with a rack positioned in the middle. Next, mix the breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, ground beef, egg, grated parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl until well combined.

Spoon the meat mixture into a loaf pan, and gently shape it into a desired shape, and smooth out any imperfections.

Next, combine the shredded parmesan and breadcrumbs in a small bowl to create the topping. Spread it evenly over the top of the meatloaf.

Transfer the meatloaf to the oven to bake for about 25 minutes, or until it reaches a minimum internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).

Once done, carefully remove it from the oven, and let it rest before slicing. You’re ready to serve.
