Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1.
Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). In a small bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, soy sauce, and thyme.

2.
Place the chicken in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the honey mixture over the chicken and turn to coat. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap.

3.
Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 2 hours. Remove the chicken from the marinade, letting any excess liquid drip off.

4.
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

5.
Transfer the chicken to a baking sheet and bake for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the glaze is caramelized and sticky.

Storage Tip: Store leftover chicken in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
