Ingredients
12 large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tsp dried thyme
1 tsp lemon zest
Salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp grated ginger
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Directions
1
In a large bowl, whisk together honey, garlic, thyme, lemon zest, salt, pepper, and ginger. Add the shrimp and toss to coat.
2
Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until pink and cooked through.
3
Remove the shrimp from the skillet and place on a plate. Reduce heat to medium and add the chopped parsley to the skillet. Cook for 1 minute, or until the parsley is slightly wilted.
4
Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss with the parsley mixture. Cook for an additional 1 minute, or until the shrimp are well coated.
5
Serve the Honey Garlic Shrimp hot, garnished with additional parsley if desired.
