  • 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons (30g) unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 bacon slices, cut into small pieces
  • 1 (14 oz, 390g) package crackers (e.g., Ritz)
  • 1 tablespoon (15g) pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

Bake the bacon in the preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes or until crispy.

Melt the butter in a saucepan over low heat and add the sugar. Cook, stirring occasionally, until golden brown.
