Pepper Steak Stir Fry With Bell Peppers And Onion

Ingredients

New York Strip Steak (1 inch thick, 1 pound), cut into 1 1/2-inch slices
1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
1 onion, sliced
2 bell peppers (any color), cut into 2-inch pieces
2 cloves Garlic, minced
2 tablespoons Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon Oyster Sauce (optional)
1 tablespoon Sugar
1 teaspoon Sesame Oil
Salt and Pepper, to taste

Directions

Heat the oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes. Transfer to a plate and set aside.

Add the onion and bell peppers to the skillet and cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

Return the beef to the skillet and stir in the soy sauce, oyster sauce (if using), and sugar. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until the steak is coated in the sauce.
