★★★★★ (55 Reviews)
Ingredients
Tortilla chips (12-15 count)
Shredded chicken (4 cups)
Ground beef (1 pound)
Salsa (2 cups)
Black beans (1 cup, drained, rinsed)
Cream cheese (1 cup)
Cheddar cheese (1 cup, shredded)
Red onion (1 cup, chopped)
Jalapeño (1, diced)
Directions
1
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Arrange 3-4 layers of tortilla chips in an even circle on a sheet pan, leaving enough space in the center for future toppings.
2
Combine shredded chicken with a tablespoon of olive oil, cumin, chili powder and cook in the oven for approximately 12-15 minutes. Set aside, let it cool slightly for the next layer.
3
Mix black beans and salsa for a flavorful topping. Add diced red onion and jalapeño for extra flavor and texture to set up at the side of the sheet pan.
4
Divide cream cheese on the tortilla chips layer in the center leaving a circle to allow future cheese melting. Cover with the second layer of tortilla chips followed by the cooked beef & cheese.
5
Spread shredded cheese over the final tortilla chip layer and bake in the preheated oven at 400°F (200°C) for approximately 10-15 minutes or until golden brown. Remove, let cool slightly, and serve immediately.
