SPAGHETTI BREAD BOWLS – Easy Comfort Food

Ingredients
4 cups spaghetti
1 loaf Italian bread
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup marinara sauce
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon dried oregano

Preheat oven to 400°F. Slice the Italian bread in half lengthwise and place on a baking sheet.

Bake the bread for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly toasted.

While the bread is baking, cook the spaghetti in boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened, about 3-4 minutes.

To assemble, place the toasted bread on a plate, topped with marinara sauce, cooked spaghetti, and shredded mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Sprinkle with dried oregano and serve hot.
