Ingredients
  

  • 1 package Little Smokies sausages (14oz)
  • 1 lb bacon, cut into thirds
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with foil.
  • Cut bacon strips into thirds. Wrap a piece of bacon around each sausage.
  • Secure with a toothpick. Place on baking sheet.
  • Mix brown sugar and cayenne. Sprinkle generously over the sausages.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes until bacon is crispy and sugar is caramelized.
  • Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
